Gettin' it done

So, It's been 3 days, and I have stuck to the plan.  I have sore thighs, arms, abs... etc. to prove it.  I have made significant changes in my life!  My plan is to take picture every 2 weeks so I can track my progress.

A couple things I have learned over the past few days.

1:  Damn!  Excercising will make you sore!  This is the reason I QUIT the last couple of times I started.  I have been taking a couple Advil (I love liquid gels) in the morning, and drinking LOTS of water!  I have also been changing up the time of day that I excercise.  In the morning, if I don't want to get out of bed, I don't get down on myself.  I let my body rest.  I'm sure I will find another 40 minutes sometime throughout my day to work out.

2:  I like alcohol (namely my red wine) on more than a weekly/bi-weekly basis.  So sue me :).  When you stay home with a 2 year old all day, you can talk to me about this. Otherwise, I am going to enjoy my glass (or 2) or Merlot. I realize this will take away from my progress...but it's worth it.  As long as I am putting in the effort of excercising, I am going to enjoy my treat.  Not EVERY day, but when I feel like it, I will indulge.


So, here it is!  My first photo. This is 3 days into this journey, and I cannot wait to start seeing changes.  I know it is not going to happen overnight, and this is why I decided to keep track of what I'm going.
