10/17/2014

So, here I am again....on the couch while my two year old son Jonah is taking a nap.  Let's see, what have I done today?  I woke up, cleaned the garbage can outside and proceeded to empty all the trashes in the house.  I then, did last night's dishes, followed by making my five year old daughter's lunch.  I made my daughter breakfast and poured my son some cereal.  Get the kids dressed, teeth brushed...put on something, anything that I can drive to school in.  Drop my daughter off at school by 8:55am and head back home.  There, am I done?

Why can't I stay motivated throughout the day?  Why have I not sat down and played with my son today?  Isn't that my job?

So, here I am again...this time YES, I'm on the computer instead of exercising or doing anything productive for that matter, but this is all going to change!  I need a change in my life, and I am the only one who is going to make it.  I've been waiting for so long for a magical Google search to pull up "The perfect schedule for the perfect stay at home mom"  "create my schedule".  Why am I waiting for someone else to do what I NEED to be doing for myself.

Starting today, it's on!  I'm going to create my schedules the night before, to include everything that would make me a happy person.  First, I need to figure out what is going to make me happy.  Yes, this blog is called Summer Body....by next summer.  But, it is so much more than that.  I am going to be a new, happier, healthier, more successful version of myself by next Summer.  In this case, by June 1st.  My 32nd birthday is June 25th, so I'm going to have one hell of a beach party....or any other environment where I can sport a sweet bathing suit.

So, what is going to make me happy?

1) I want a bikini body (six pack abs)
2) I want to be a better mother who makes time for her kids individually
3) I want to make my own money and contribute to our household
4) I want to make each moment of each day count, meaning I don't want to feel like I'm wasting time

These are the goals:  Timeline is June 1st.  I will start today by figuring out the best way to achieve these goals individually.

1)  I want a bikini body:

8 week bikini body program
12 week Lean Muscle Mass
Eat healthy and drink more water on a daily basis
Cut out alcohol to once per week/bi-weekly

2) I want to be a better mother who makes time for her kids individually

Carve out time for Charlotte and Jonah on my daily schedule
Put the phone and the Ipad DOWN during my kids time
Play outside with my kids for at least 30 minutes per day
Limit TV to one hour per day

3) I want to make my own money and contribute to our household

Do 1.5 hours of Sweepstakes each night after 8pm
Work UBER at least twice per week with a goal of making $300 per week
Write down when I win on the radio and try each 30 days

4) I want to make each moment of each day count, meaning I don't want to feel like I'm wasting time

Make a schedule each night for the following day
Limit TV to one hour per day
Follow all requirements of each goal above and use each goal to direct my daily schedule.
